So when is the release date?
The season 5 of La Casa de Papel has not been officially confirmed just yet by Netflix. Still, the creator of the show, Alex Pina, has been working on the project for the last months, and he has hinted that Netflix has already ordered season 5 and season 6. But that is not all. Netflix has also ordered a spin-off, which is rumored to be based on Berlin’s early days.
According to some Spanish reports, the fifth season of Money Heist has already entered pre-production during October 2019. The script is ready, as well. The filming was supposed to start soon, but then the coronavirus outbreak happened, which delayed it. we are hoping that the new season will arrive around the 20th of August.
What about the plot of the fifth season?
We believe that season 5 will continue where season 4 left off, with Alicia confronting the Professor at gunpoint. Fans started making up their own theories, stating that Alicia is actually Berlin’s wife, Tatiana, because the description matches and, of course, her husband died two months ago.
That would definitely explain the motive because she might be blaming him for Berlin’s death. But we believe that the gang will find a way to get him out.
