So, it seems that Todd Phillips is back in the game and will the write the script together with Scott Silver. Don’t forget that Scott Silver was part of the first movie as well! Joker 2 Release Date
Sadly, we don’t have the exact date for the release of the Joker 2, but at least we know that Todd Phillips will get to direct the sequel. They are already working on the development of this sequel, but we don’t know how long it will take them to reach the finish line. Back at the end of the first Joker, we see that the main character, played by Arthur Fleck, was in the Arkham hospital. However, he hadn’t stopped with his killing spree there, still leaving some read footprints.

As such, it’s not quite his type to execute a very detailed scheme, typical to a criminal mastermind. Do you know what would be funny? As it seems, this backstory created around Batman is already going on, being set up by Robert Pattinson and Matt Reeves. Another major question we have for Joker 2 is tied to the identity of Arthur’s enemy.
