The beta version for iOS 14 is out for grabs, but it may be far from what the iPhone owners expected. Despite being the natural progression after iOS 13, the fourteenth iteration of the operating system for iPhones is currently causing plenty of bugs and fast battery drain. One rapid and efficient way to solve this is by simply shifting back to the older version of iOS. But of course, nobody was born maneuvering iPhones. There's nothing shameful in learning from others, and we're glad to provide help. The first thing you need to do is to ensure your access to a computer and a Lightning or USB-C cable. These will be useful for connecting your device to your Mac or PC. Next up, follow these steps carefully: You'll need to wipe and restore your iPhone completely. If you're on a Windows computer, you must prepare the iTunes app and getting it updated to the latest version. If you're on Mac, you must also assure yourself that your computer's software is updated. Just select the Apple logo at the top of your screen then select System Preferences > Software Update. Connect your iPhone to your computer by using a Lightning or USB-C cable. Put your iPhone into recovery mode. You'll know that recovery mode has been activated when your device's screen turns black, and a cable will be shown while it's pointing toward a MacBook. Your iPhone could restart itself during this process, but shouldn't let go of the button(s) until the recovery mode screen appears. A prompt on your computer will let you know that a device in recovery mode was detected. You will be invited to Restore or Update your device, and you must hit the Restore option. Your computer will further download and install iOS 13 on your mobile device. If there won't be any prompt, you'll need to use iTunes (on PC) or Finder (on Mac), select the device, and ultimately opt for Restore. If a backup of your phone or tablet was created before joining the beta program, there's no need to worry. After iOS 13 is installed, you'll be invited to use that backup for restoring your device. If you're still willing to try out iOS 14 and you think that it may be suitable for you, you must know that anyone can sign up for giving the beta version a try.
