Ubisoft Confirmed Prince of Persia: The Dagger of Time The last installment of the series, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands was released back in 2010. For fans of the series such a long period of postponed projects, promises, and rumors, was way too much. Their waiting, however, might come to an end soon, according to the latest report. Ubisoft has confirmed a new installment into the Prince of Persia series with the introduction of Prince of Persia: The Dagger of Time. As fantastic it might sound, there is an issue. Ubisoft announced the game would be a VR-exclusive. "Prince of Persia's time-bending approach to puzzle-solving is making its way to a virtual-reality escape room near you. Prince of Persia: The Dagger of Time, opening worldwide this spring, gives teams of up to four layers the chance to work together to solve puzzles and use the titular artifact's powers to stop, rewind, or fast-forward time," reads the full description of the upcoming game. Details on Prince of Persia: The Dagger of Time The upcoming installment in the Prince of Persia series demands a wholly dedicated space for the players to play, and to estimate the surroundings in-game to the area that the user has established. VR games show a massive investment in headsets and controllers to enjoy the game accurately and maintain the full value that the game has to provide. Ubisoft's decision, however, isn't fully supported by fans. A return to the classic model of the Prince of Persia series would have been more understood and well-received. We should except, though, for more details and hope for a change of heart.
