World of Warcraft is one of those gaming titles that delighted the childhood of many of us. It’s a massively multiplayer online role-playing game that was released in 2004 by Blizzard Entertainment and made available for Windows PC and macOS.
But the World of Warcraft legacy continues even today, and the next patch will unlock Ahn’Qiraj. Thus, Alliance and Horde players will be given the chance to collect resources and complete a huge quest chain.
Release Date: July 28
The continuation of World of Warcraft’s original timeline will continue with Phase 5 (aka version 1.13.5) on Tuesday, July 28. However, the good news doesn’t end here for the World of Warcraft fans. The fifth phase of the gaming title will also include dungeon loot reconfiguration, relics, the introduction of tier 0.5 dungeon gear, and a rich list of drop rates and location changes.
As for the plot of the classic World of Warcraft, Wikipedia says the following:
“Intent on settling in Durotar, Thrall’s Horde expanded its ranks by inviting the undead Forsaken to join orcs, tauren, and trolls. Meanwhile, dwarves, gnomes, and the ancient night elves pledged their loyalties to the Alliance, guided by the human kingdom of Stormwind. After Stormwind’s king, Varian Wrynn, mysteriously disappeared, Highlord Bolvar Fordragon served as Regent but his service was affected by the mind control of the black dragon Onyxia, who ruled in disguise as a human noblewoman. “
Judging by how insanely popular World of Warcraft is, it’s surprising the game’s unavailability for consoles. But we can expect this situation to change soon. According to some reliable sources, World of Warcraft will also become available for the upcoming next-generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft (PS5 and Xbox Series X, respectively).
Both PS5 and Xbox Series X will land on stores around Christmas, and they will guarantee a whole new level for the gaming world.
