venom let there be carnage

The Venom movie has broken all the records at the box office when it was released. And after its success, it was clear that there will be a sequel. Sony, together with and Tom Hardy, who played Venom in the first movie, released a teaser. We also found out about the name of the movie: Venom: Let There Be Carnage. We also got the logo and important detail about the release date for the second movie of the series.

The teaser is short, and we barely see anything. We don’t even see Tom Hardy or Woody Harrelson.

The Venom: Let There Be Carnage Release Date

With this teaser, we got a fantastic piece of news about the sequel. We learned that it is delayed until next year. The production stopped because of the new coronavirus outbreak. Since theaters are shut down, and everyone is staying at home, it might be for the best.

The producers want to release the movie at the correct time. The movie was set to be released on the 2nd of October, 2020. But now is not the case anymore, and we actually expected that. As we’ve all seen, Venom 2 is the sequel of the 2018 Venom, produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel. Andy Serkis is directing with Kelly Marcel as the screenwriter.

What about the cast?

We know for sure that Tom Hardy will be returning for the sequel, as journalist Eddie Brock. Woody Harrelson is also back as Cletus Kasady / Carnage, Michelle Williams as Anne Weying, Naomie Harris as Shriek, Reid Scott as Dan Lewis, and Stephen Graham

We cannot wait to see the sequel in theaters. Right now, we are waiting for another update on the sequel and on the release date. We only hope that Venom: Let There Be Carnage will be at least as entertaining as the first movie in the series.
