The Sims 5 is undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated games to be released. Gamers across the globe are wondering how EA will take advantage of next-gen hardware.
Though Sims 4 featured a plethora of post-launch content for players to enjoy, fans are eager for an official announcement about the upcoming game.
Platforms
Sims 5 will be available on next-gen systems – The PS5 and Xbox Series X (and likely the Series S).
Aside from that, the game will also be available on current-gen platforms.
PC gamers will see a separate release of the game on Steam, but it would also be released on the Origin Store, as it’s an EA game.
Content
Sims 5 will certainly overhaul the Sims 4 experience.
The capacity to customize to an extreme extent is what made the franchise so famous.
The Sims 4 was released more than half a decade ago, so it’s only reasonable to see significant graphical and gameplay improvements.
Though no features were confirmed yet, the time gap the developers had should translate to many improvements.
We hope that DLC of The Sims 4 will also be available on The Sims 5.
Titles like “Discover University” and “Get to Work” are iconic for the franchise, and they should be available right from day one.
Release Date
No official release date for Sims 5 was published.
However, estimates are crowding up on the web. Many believe that the game would be launched at the beginning of the next year, though we find that unlikely as the developers haven’t revealed too much information about the game yet.
Stay tuned to learn more information about Sims 5 as soon as it’s out there!
