While any die-hard fan of the famous The Sims series is eagerly waiting for a release date of the fifth installment of the game to be announced, they don’t have to wait for too long anymore. EA and Marhis will soon announce a release date, and we have a strong hint to believe so: there are no more updates coming for The Sims 4.
The explanation is pretty simple: the developers are focusing instead on The Sims 5. The life simulation series is expected to become even more exciting along with the release of The Sims 5. The latest updates for The Sims 4 included many exciting aspects of everyday life: going to university, having pets, meetings, and more. It’s most likely that this kind of aspects will be enhanced along with The Sims 5.

The Sims 5 is expected to be pretty generous regarding the platforms where it will be available. The game will most likely be available for the usual platforms: PC, Xbox One, and PS4. There are also rumors that the game will be cross-platform. Let’s not also forget that Sony and Microsoft’s next-generation consoles are expected to land to the market this year. Obviously, it would be absurd to not see The Sims 5 running on both PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles.
The excitement just flows into the air, the clock is ticking, and The Sims 5 is closer to launch with every second. Fans are free to make a lot of speculations about what they can expect and want from the sequel of The Sims 4.
