At first, we believed that The Simpsons would not be available on Disney+ for the UK Disney’s streaming service is quite popular in the US, and the number of subscribers has exceeded the initial expectations. It’s probably The Mandalorian that’s doing these numbers, but other TV shows are also available there.
Disney+ will continue its global rollout next month with the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Switzerland. Those of you who want to watch the most popular movies and T.V. shows out there will have to wait for a bit, however.
The Simpsons could be available on Disney+ in the UK
In order to make sure that people pay for their subscriptions – and to prevent them from watching all of the shows during the free trial – they released the Mandalorian weekly. Now we know that people will be able to watch The Simpsons without any trouble. Initially, things were different, due to the result of existing licensing deals between Sky and Channel 4.
Right now, Disney is trying to make people from the UK to sign up early for the service. They do it by offering a discounted price of £49.99 for a year. But keep in mind that after the 23rd of March, the price will go up to £59.99.

This is not the first time they have troubles with The Simpsons. Older episodes are available to stream on Disney+ in the US however, they have been cropped to fit the 16:9 aspect ratio, which kind of ruins all.
But the episodes have also been remastered and cleaned up visually, which is a good thing for some. Old fans of the series were outraged. Disney+ has promised to take care of these problems this year, but we do not know when that will happen.
