A new warning is coming from the geologists and NASA who are monitoring the activity of the Taal volcano. The satellites are sending data which is showing deformation in the ground around the Philippines volcano. Every volcano activity, the same as the asteroids activity have a scale or a level. In the case of the Taal volcano, the level is 4. Level 4 means, in simple words, that the volcano can erupt at any time. It could be a question of hours or days. Is It Possible to Have an Eruption of the Taal Volcano? Taal is dangerous for some time because, on January 12 and January 13, the volcano erupted and created a blanket of ash, but no other destruction. However, the things are not that simple as they seem. The scientists say that the magma is moving underground because of the many earthquakes around Taal. With the interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR), they could saw the changes that are happening into the ground. Moreover, the European Space Agency\u2019s Sentinel-1b satellite is taking pictures at a distance of six days at the Phillippines volcano to detect the changes. In that way, if the movement is happening, they have images to compare it. The reason why the scientists are using radar is that it gives them the possibility to see even in darkness or through the clouds. Warnings on the Taal Volcano in the Philippines Even the USGS, the U.S Geological Survey, is saying that even if the weather is terrible, cloudy, or during the night, in case of a volcanic crisis, they have all the advantages. Moreover, yesterday the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) declared that Taal is awake, and it gives signs of magma moving. Finally, besides PHIVOLCS, which is reporting 738 earthquakes on the volcanic island Luzon, the Philippine Seismic Network came with additional 486 shocks missed previously in the last 24 hours. The 4 level alert for Taal is still on, and a dangerous explosion could happen anytime.
