The Bible is one of he biggest treasures that arrived in the hands of humanity. The world's best selling book of all time has precious information that science only nowadays begins to discover. A biblical scholar now comes to provide us an even new perspective for the Bible: he claims that by performing archaeological studies at the ancient Egyptian necropolis of Beni Hasan located about 150 miles south of Cairo, we can find out what ancient patriarchs like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob looked like. There's no wonder why the necropolis creates so much interest among archaeologists. The ancient site has uncovered many archaeological treasures, including 29 tombs from around the 20th century BC. Tomb paintings uncovered by British archaeologists in the 20th century These structures represent the main attraction at this point. The murals are believed to be among the earliest depictions that present ancient Israelites. Tom Meyer is a Professor of Bible and Theology at Shasta Bible College and Graduate School from California. He believes the Egyptian murals can be concurrent with accounts found in the Bible's passages. The professor declared: "If you ever wondered what the famous Bible patriarchs like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob probably looked like, thanks to archaeology you don’t need to wonder anymore." Mainly discovered by John Garstang of the University of Liverpool, the Beni Hasan mural now triggers even more attention from the archaeologists. "The portrait was found on the wall of a rock-cut tomb of a high ranking Egyptian official and vizier named Khnumhotep III, the son of a provincial governor. "The picture dates to the sixth year of the reign of Pharaoh Sesostris II about 1872 BC." Professor Meyer is known as The Bible Memory Man for a good reason: he's a lecturer who has memorized more than 20 books from the Bible.
