Samsung shocked the smartphone industry in 2019 when it launched Galaxy Fold. This was Samsung’s first-ever foldable smartphone and it sold for an expensive price tag of more than $2,000. Despite that, Galaxy Fold was a major success. This is why it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Samsung is trying to replicate the success this year by launching the much-anticipated Galaxy Z Flip. Even though Samsung is doing its best to keep all information about Galaxy Z Flip away from the media’s eyes, we got lucky and the foldable smartphone’s key hardware specs have been leaked.
Will Galaxy Z Flip Ship with an 108MP Camera?
The first thing that we want to do address is the rumor that Galaxy Z Flip will be equipped with an 108MP camera sensor. While this rumor might be exciting, the leaked hardware specs of Galaxy Z Flip are showing us that it is false. Instead of shipping with an 108MP camera sensor, Galaxy Z Flip will be equipped with a 10MP selfie shooter and a dual-camera setup that is mounted on the rear side.
Leaked Specs
Leaving the rumors aside, Galaxy Z Flip will be equipped with an innovative 6.7-inch display that can be folded. To make things even better, the display will use Samsung’s trademark Dynamic AMOLED technology in order to deliver high image quality. Galaxy Z Flip will feature a total of 256GB of internal storage space.
The leak doesn’t specify if Galaxy Z Flip supports microSD cards but we think that this might happen. After all, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S11 series will support microSD cards of up to 1TB. Moreover, Galaxy Z Flip will be fueled by either a 3,300 mAh or 3,500 mAh battery and it will be available in black and purple colors.
