The Samsung Galaxy A70 is finally receiving the greatly-awaited Android 10 update in India, and the most critical aspect of the new update is the introduction of the One UI 2.0.
The One UI 2.0 update began in Ukraine, and Samsung decided to expand it progressively to other countries. Unfortunately, India was the last country to receive the update, which is identified with the code A705GMDDU5BTC2.
Though users from India had to wait for so long, the new update will certainly be worth it because, as it was released in other countries, Samsung had plenty of time to fix any random bugs or issues that might have appeared over time.
Nevertheless, it’s finally here, and it’s certainly worth downloading!
The new firmware adds a cornucopia of features, but it’s also heavy on storage space, requiring almost 2GB.
However, the update adds a pleasant UI that has an embedded Dark Mode option, stylish and sharp app icons and system colors, improved system animations, full-screen gestures, one-handed mode, and many more small improvements that add up to a fresh experience.
Some default apps received updates, including the Calendar, Camera, Contacts, Internet, My Files apps, and others.
Installing The New Update
If you are in India and your Galaxy A70 hasn’t automatically updated to the latest software version, open the Settings app, go to Software Update and then tap Download and install.
If that does not work, you can always download the new update from an online archive. However, make sure that you download it from a legitimate source. The A70 sold in high numbers and is prone to being the target of hacker attacks, which is why you should take great care when downloading updates online.
