Even though the Rick and Morty show is at its last several episodes of Season 4, a fifth season is expected to arrive as well in the future. A statement made by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon is speaking for itself:
“The plan has always been to get them out quicker. I think it’s safe to say without fear of being wrong that the gap between seasons three and four will be the longest and last time that it’s ever so long that it’s ridiculous. I don’t know how fast we can do it, but I know it will never be this long again.”
The gap lasted for about two years. Therefore, we can expect Season 5 of Rick and Morty to start airing in a maximum of another two years after the final episode of Season 4. This can mean that Season 5 can arrive in two years, two months, or even two weeks after Season 4 ends.
