The Resident Evil 3: Remake title was not revealed at Jump Festa this month, but as soon as next week. And it won’t be at The Game Awards 2019, which will take place on Thursday. Geoff Keighley already confirmed that the new Capcom game would not make its appearance at his show. But the game was revealed yesterday, at the new State of Play from PlayStation, which took place on the 10th of December, on Tuesday.
Resident Evil 3: Remake presentation date leaked before State of Play
One of the sources was Sabi, who is one of the most known leakers of the industry. Sabi stated that the game would be a major reveal, but it won’t be the only massive game from the State of Play. We thought that the game would make an appearance during the State of Play. But the real question was: will it get a release date? We thought Capcom would not reveal the game this year, but we guess we were wrong there, too.
About Resident Evil 3: Remake
The game is the full remake and reimagining of the Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, a game that was released back in 1999. The game tells the story of Jill Valentine, the protagonist of the original Resident Evil. She tries to escape Raccoon City, which is dominated by zombies. While she tries to escape, a creature, which is known as the Nemesis, starts to stalk her throughout the city.
Capcom has officially announced Resident Evil 3, which will launch for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. Stay tuned for more info about the soon-to-hit-the-market horror game.
Resident Evil 3: Remake release date
At the PlayStation State of Play, Capcom also revealed the release date for the game. Accordingly, we should expect Resident Evil 3: Remake to launch on April 3rd, 2020, for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
