The RedmiBook 14 was released in May 2019 on the Chinese market. After a few months, the device was upgraded with the the 10th gen Intel Core i7 SoC. The notebook produced by Redmi was launched almost a year go; however, there is no official confirmation the regarding its availability outside the Chinese border.
But, the situation might change, as it looks like Xiaomi is preparing to launch the notebook in India soon. The almost a year old device has finally got the BIS approval, which means that it will soon arrive on the Indian market.
RedmiBook 14 Series Launch in India
According to our favorite leaker, Ishan Agarwal, an online conference to retailers confirmed the fact that Redmi laptop will soon be released in India. More than that, the Xiaomi India MD and global Vice President, Manu Kumar Jain, was the person who confirmed the news.
But, the confirmation is not followed by a specific timeline. We don’t know the release date, nor the period of time when these portable devices will be available on the Indian market. What we do know based on Agarwal’s tips is the fact that we should expect only the Redmi laptops to arrive in India. That doesn’t include other Redmi devices, such as Mi Pad, for example.
RedmiBook 14 Bags BIS Certification
The BIS certification includes a different version of the RedmiBook 14. As you might know, the notebook from Redmi has a few available variants. The the model numbers listed in the certification database are XMA1901-DA, XMA1901-DG, XMA1901-FA, XMA1904-AR, and XMA1904-AF.
RedmiBook 14 Price In India
The price for the RedmiBook 14 in India will more than likely be similar to the launching price in China. However, at the moment, we don’t know exactly which of the RedmiBook 14 variants will launch on the Indian market.
There are three available models of this product. The standard version features a Core i5 chipset, 8GB RAM, and 256GB internal storage. It costs 3999 yuan, which means almost Rs. 40,300. The second model is also powered by a Core i5 chipset, featuring 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.
RedmiBook 14 costs 4299 yuan, which means almost Rs. 43,400. The third model is the premium variant that comes with a Core i7 chipset, coupled with 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. It costs 4999 yuan, which is almost Rs. 50,400.
