The Beta version of the PUBG Mobile 0.18.0 has been released. The latest update has introduced new features, such as new game modes—for example, Miramar 2.0 and Safety Scramble Mode.
Safety Scramble Mode rules and mechanics
Safety Scramble Mode brings a new concept into the game. Similar to an EvoGround Mode, it was explicitly made to combat camping. If you are a PUBG Mobile player, then you know that sometimes people chose to camp inside the safe zone.
This move is good for the players who camp inside the safe zone; however, things are different for the rest of the players who are at a disadvantage.
But the Safety Scramble Mode has added a new blue zone inside the play zone. The Inner Blue Zone will point out where the next play zone will be. This way, the camping spot will be countered.
The Inner Blue Zone that is added beside the outer blue zone will remain throughout the game until the last stage of the match. Besides pointing out the next location of the safe zone, it also informs the player that the zone has the same size as the next circle.
In other words, The Inner Blue Zone’s role is not to allow the players to camp inside the safe zone. Staying inside the zone for too long will mean you take damage, the same amount of damage caused by the next phase’s Blue Zone.
Reasons why Safety Scramble Mode has been added
You might think that the Safety Scramble Mode is useless, but let me tell you why it has become part of the game. In fact, there are two main reasons why this game mode was introduced into PUBG Mobile.
The first reason is that players were left in the dark about where the next safe zone formed. If you were lucky, then it was ok if not, too bad. This game mode was introduced so that every player has the same chance of winning the match. The second reason is that players can now plan the whole match better in PUBG Mobile.
