The Nintendo Switch has been a hit among Nintendo fans as the popular portable console has sold quite well, proving that portable console is still popular, especially when some of the most popular titles of the previous decade are playable on them.
Mario fans will be happy to learn that a new compilation title will arrive on the Nintendo Switch on September 18, 2020. The game, which is called Super Mario 3D All-Stars, will include enhanced versions of Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy, as well as an in-game music player mode with access to soundtracks of the three games.
Few video games are as iconic as Super Mario 64, which helped the Nintendo 64 to become a household hit across the world. Many video game publications have praised the title throughout the years, as it brought the best elements of the 2D games in an impressive 3D world.
Among the changes that will be included, Nintendo mentioned improved resolutions and changes to the gameplay experience, especially an enhanced control scheme which takes advantage of the Joy-Cons offered by the portable device.
The launch coincides with the 35th anniversary of the popular Super Mario franchise, and other Mario titles will also be re-released on the Switch. One of them is Super Mario 3D World +Bowser’s Fury, an enhanced version of the original Super Mario 3D World released as a Wii U exclusive.
Veterans of the series who love the 2D games also have a reason to celebrate as Super Mario All-Stars, which includes Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros. 2, and Super Mario Bros. 3, will be available soon on Nintendo Switch Online.
These titles will provide plenty of fun during a slower year for first-party exclusives while also allowing Switch owners to enjoy the titles that made Nintendo a legend in the world of video games.
