Of course, no important game can afford to be without extremely cool and extremely overpriced skins. Do not despair, as Valorant is definitely not going to be a game without super cool and super overpriced skins, especially considering the fact that it is free-to-play. The new CS-like tactical shooter game from Riot has just come out with its brand new line of Elderflame gun skins. These are able of turning your weapons into almost realistic, roaring, worryingly on fire dragons. These are completely animated and they swing around after you get a kill. Dragons even hand you ammunition whenever you reload, so it is consumed in a much cooler way. Starting Friday, you will be able to play with the new skins for Valorant. They are not even that expensive – a mere 100 USD.
Currently, skins in Valorant are part of five different categories: these are Select, Deluxe, Premium, Ultra and Exclusive. These are ranked in order. The Elderlame skins are part of the first set in the Ultra Edition category, so they cost about 2475 Valorant points. If you are looking to buy a single skin, you have to dish out about 35 USD for 3650 Valorant Points. However, you can also get the entire bundle of Elderflame skins with an impressive 40 USD discount. The whole pack costs 100 USD and you get quite a lot of Valorant points.
Personally, I would never spend 100 USD for a skin for a video game weapon. At the end of the day, that is almost two triple-A games. Still, there are going to be a lot of players that would spend money on this. For me, I would rather wait until I kill someone with a skin like this, so I can promptly grab the weapon right off their corpses. Free stuff.
