Dracula hit Netflix and BBC One on the 1st of January 2020. It has three episodes. After seeing the end of the show, fans were both excited and shocked. Now, what about the Dracula season 2?
This show is based on the novel wrote by Bram Stoker, and it was created by the same creator as Sherlock, Steven Moffat.
In this series, we get to see Dracula with his origins in Eastern Europe, and how he fights Van Helsing’s descendants. In one official statement, Netflix said that “The Count Dracula legend transforms with new tales that flesh out the vampire’s gory crimes and bring his vulnerability into the light.”
What about the end of the Dracula season 1?
We see how Dracula rises from his coffin and meets modern England after his 123-year sleep at the bottom of the ocean. This all happened after the voyage of the Demeter. He then goes to confront Agatha Van Helsing, who is now in the body of her sick relative Zoe, who is the president of the Jonathan Harker Foundation – we are talking about a covert mercenary group armed that wants to catch Dracula.
Zoe manages to defeat Dracula in an unusual pact. The story comes to an end with a murder-suicide. After Dracula drained the body of Zoe and ingested all the cancerous cells – which will kill him, both him and Agatha disappear.
Is there going to be a Dracula season 2?
As of now, we have no news about a second season. Netflix is usually the one to renew its shows, but right now, we have to wait.

Dolly Wells plays both Dr. Zoe Helsing and Agatha Van Helsing. Lydia West plays the Bloofer Lady. Chanel Cresswell plays Kathleen. Mark Gatiss plays Frank Renfield. Phil Dunster plays Quincey Morris. Lyndsey Marshall plays Bloxham. Matthew Beard plays Jack Seward.
