Since its initial release back in April 2019 for PC, consoles, and Stadia, Mortal Kombat 11 has still been receiving plenty of updates from the developers. The title is a true delight for the legendary fighting series, as it provides to the players many hours of brutal and unique battles.
The Aftermath update for Mortal Kombat 11 was just released today, May 26. The main highlight of the update is the addition of RoboCop for the roster of fighters, the legendary cyborg from the ’80s. Feel free to feast your eyes upon the official trailer of the update below:
Three new playable characters
RoboCop is not the only new character arriving to Mortal Kombat 11 along with the Aftermath update. There is also Fujin, the brother of Raiden and God of Wind. Sheeva is another newly added character that we’ve seen before in Mortal Kombat X. She’s half-human and half-dragon with four arms.
This is how the developers of the game are describing the newly added characters:
“Dive into the fighting styles of new kombatants Fujin, Sheeva, and Robocop in the official gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath! Each with their own unique play styles, they eagerly await their day in kombat. On May 26, the epic saga continues!”
As RoboCop had now become officially available, it will be exciting to see how he deals with The Terminator, another cyborg from the ’80s. Both characters arrived in the roster of fighters after the initial game was released, and they are capable of some devastating hits.
Another character that arrived in Mortal Kombat 11 long after the April 2019 release of the game was the legendary Joker. Playing with him is a lot of fun, as he’s more like a trickster rather than a fighter.
The Aftermath update for Mortal Kombat 11 also brings a series of new skins, an expansion for the story, and more. Feel free to explore them all by playing the game ASAP!
