Missing Childhood? Hotel Transylvania 4: Plot, Cast and Release Date

A little bit of history…

Back in 2012, Sony Pictures Animation and Columbia Pictures have released the movie Hotel Transylvania on the 7th of December. Ever since then, the movie has received impressive reviews, being a success among children and parents at the same time. The storyline presents Dracula, and the action is happening in his high-end resort, specially designed for monsters. Dracula’s wife died after being killed by a human mob.

Hotel Transylvania is viewed as a safe place, where monsters come to chill around. The equilibrium was destroyed by an unexpected visit from a human traveler, even though this place was well-known in the monsters’ world for being a human-free area. Dracula tries his best to keep his daughter away from the visitor, being afraid that she will eventually fall in love with him. The 91 minutes movie was a huge success ever since its release.

Four years later, the producers have released the second part of the movie. Later on, in 2018, Hotel Transylvania has received its third part. Fans can (re)view this comic series on Amazon Prime, YouTube, Netflix, or Google Play Store.

When will Hotel Transylvania 4 be released?

Sony Pictures revealed back in February 2019 that the 4th part will be released on the 22nd of December, 2021. Later on, the producers have decided to move the date earlier, and the release was announced on the 6th of August 2021. Up until now, there has been no official information regarding the motives of this change.

What will the storyline include?

Nothing has been officially declared regarding the challenges that the characters will face in the 4th season. What is sure is that the story will be a continuation of the third part, Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, when Ericka and Dracula fall in love. The voiceover will probably include the same names: Adam Sandler as Dracula and Selena Gomez as Mavis.
