Mindhunter Season 3 Rumors – Launch Date, Cast, and More

We all know that the third season of Mindhunter will not be here anytime soon. In fact, we do not know much, and fans started to think that, perhaps, the show has been canceled. But the series based on the Mindhunter book still has an uncertain future, since its creator and producer, David Fincher, is currently working on other projects.

Netflix has released the cast from their contract, but that does not mean that there won’t be future negotiations. The production for the third season is stopped right now – they put it on hold – and we are not sure if Netflix will renew or cancel the show.

Mindhunter Season 3 Rumors

As we all expected, rumors are everywhere. Season 2 was released back in August 2019, and fans loved the show. Truth be told, the plot is impressive. Everyone believed that season 3 would come out soon. However, the show is based on real-life events that were written in the book, so there is no certainty for multiple seasons. But there are still some stories left unsaid, which can appear in the third season of the show.

Right now, Netflix is not working on the third season. The rumors that the show was canceled made their appearances when Netflix released the cast from their contracts. The creator, David Fincher, is working on a movie called “Mank,” and on the second season of “Love, Death, and Robots,” – which is set to be released before the end of this year. The producer will probably start working on the third season of the show after he’s done with these projects, in 2021.

As said before, Netflix released the main actors from their contracts – Jonathan Groff, Anna Torv, and Holt McCallany. However, this does not mean that the cats won’t come back – this only means that the actors are free to work on other projects until Mindhunter returns.
