We are simply in love with the film Matrix, which has first made its appearance back in 1999, with some fantastic visuals and a detailed science-fiction world full of subtext and philosophical musings. But what do we know so far about the Matrix 4 installment?
Matrix 4 comes with huge plans
The studio is ready for the fourth Matrix movie. Even if the two previous films received an indifferent response from its fanbase, we still have high hopes for the fourth movie, that has officially been announced.
More than that, they announced that Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss would be back, reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity. But what is interesting is that these characters were killed in The Matrix Revolutions. Lana Wachowski will also be back as the director for the fourth time.
Keanu Reeves is back? Even if Neo died?
We got the known faces, but there are also some new ones, like Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, and Toby Onwumere. But we still do not know which roles they will play. But we do know that young Morpheus will be performed by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, at least from rumors.
What about the plot of Matrix 4?
The plot of the fourth film will focus on the recovery of the real world. By mentioning young Morpheus, it is suggesting that there will be some time travel and flashback. It has been said that the fourth chapter will be released on the 21st of May 2021. We believe that this is quite an early Matrix 4 release date, but we will hopefully find out more about the new movie soon.
Hopefully, Matrix 4 will be as entertaining as the previous parts of the series. Personally, I’m looking forward to the sequel, being curious about what happened with Neo after he fought the primary machine that was controlling the other robots.
