The next season will contain 16 episodes that will be released in two stages, with an intermediate break.

All the main cast of Lucifer will return in the upcoming season. In essence, Lucifer will be played by Ellis, Lauren German will take up the role of Chloe, Kevin Alejandro as Dan Espinoza, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen, Rachel Harris as Linda, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez, and D.B Woodside as Amenadiel.
There is a chance that we might even see Inbar Lavi returning as Eve and Tricia Helfer as Charlotte.
The newest additions to the season are Dennis Haysbert as God and Matthew Bohrer as Donovan Glover.
The Death Of A Major Character
Rumor is going around that a vital character will meet its end in the next season because members of Team Lucifer were observed while shooting a graveyard scene at night.
In said scene, both Amenandiel and Lucifer were standing in the graveyard with their heads bowed.
Chances are it’s either Dan, Ella, or Trixie, but we can’t know for sure right now, so we’ll have to be patient to see who died, straight from the series.
