Lucifer Season 5 Is Happening — What We Know so Far

Season 5 of Lucifer is happening, and we cannot be more excited! Lucifer Morningstar will be back, and will probably be as charming.

In case you don’t know, the tv show is about this angel, son of God, who’s tired of being the King of Hell and decides to get to Earth. Here, he joins LAPD. He works together with detective Decker, and they catch the bad guys.

Are we getting a Lucifer season 5?

The answer is yes! Netflix renewed the show for its five seasons, which is going to be the last one. Initially, the season was set to have ten episodes, but it has been said that the number increased to 16, so there are six more episodes for us.

When is the release date?

We have no confirmation so far. It will probably be released in spring or summer 2020. Is the entire cast coming back?

The lead of the cast, Tom Ellis and Lauren German, will reprise their roles of Lucifer Morningstar and Detective Chloe Decker. Decker’s ex-husband, Detective Dan Espinoza, will also appear, which means that Kevin Alejandro will also be back. The same goes for Lesley-Ann Brandt, who plays Mazikeen, Aimee Garcia, who plays Ella Lopez and Rachael Harris as Dr. Linda Martin.

New characters in Lucifer Season 5

There are also some rumors that there will also be some new faces. Also, the season will be divided into two parts, each with eight episodes.

After the end of the 4th season, we were looking forward to a new one. Fans started the #SaveLucifer campaign. And their thoughts have listened, so Lucifer is getting another season. The campaign had an essential role in reprising back the show for another season. If it weren’t for the campaign, they probably wouldn’t have continued with the tv show.
