Justice League 2 has been delayed. After the first Justice League come out, the production of the second movie started. As you might already know, the first movie was directed by Zack Snyder back in 2017. Part of the cast was Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher. All of these actors have played a leading role in the movie.
About Justice League 2 Delay
The Justice League movie is about a team of heroes joining forces against the Steppenwolf and his horde of Parademons. As in every movie with multiple heroes, the team needs to work together in order to protect our planet. The opinions about this movie are mixed, plus it had a box-office bomb.
However, even if the results were not that great, Warner Bros. agreed with the production of the sequel. Justice League 2 was supposed to come out last year in June; however, the movie has been postponed. According to the reports, Zack Snyder was believed to direct the movie, and the casting team to remain the same.
Warner Bros. Decided To Focus On Standalone Movies
The reason the sequel is delayed is that Warner Bros. is focusing on the standalone movies. Movies such as Aquaman, Shazam, Joker, and many others, have gained a big success. There is no surprise that the production of the next Justice League movie was delayed. The budget used for the first movie exceeded the amount of money earned.
From the money point of view, the company is doing a lot better working on the standalone projects. These types of projects are more successful for the Studio. At the moment, there is no news regarding the continuation of the sequel. Plus, Zack Synder backed off from this project in the end. And it resulted in Ben Affleck’s departure too. Ben played the role of Batman in the first movie.
