How You Can Take a Look at New Outriders Content

The game studio Square Enix, well known for games such as the Final Fantasy series, has recently unveiled Outriders, a sci-fi shooter RPG developed by Bulletstorm studio People Can Fly. The announcement was made at E3 back in 2019. Unfortunately, 2020’s E3 is not going to take place, so further details about the game will be made public through a series of monthly live streams known as Outriders Broadcast. This live stream will start on May 28.

Bartek Kmita, the creative director of People Can Fly, has mentioned in an interview that the gaming industry is going through a rather strange phase due to the obvious external factors. Game developers are doing the best they can to continue to offer the same products and services, but the cancellation of most gaming events has led to the studio looking for new ways to share Outriders with the fanbase. People Can Fly is quite excited about presenting the new details of Outriders with the players on a monthly basis through the Outriders Broadcasts.

The very first Outriders Broadcast, which will take place on May 28, will begin at 9 am PT/12 pm ET. It will be available on Twitch. It will include a look at new areas within the game, some deep dives into the content, various powers that the controllable players will have, and an analysis of the gameplay.

After looking into Outriders back in February, we have realized that the game is somewhat similar to Destiny, but it still maintains a style specific to People Can Fly. The game is not as over-the-top as Bulletstorm, which was to be expected, but Outriders is still a very fast-paced shooters infused with a lot of super-powers, oscillating between grimdark and ridiculous.

In spite of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused the entire People Can Fan Fly to work from home, Outriders is still scheduled to release during the 2020 holiday season.
