GTA Online is Giving In-Game Money for FREE Once Again

Even if GTA 5 is seven years old, it never seems to become obsolete. The developers are constantly bringing new updates for the online mode of the title (aka GTA Online), and now they will encourage once again the players to get involved in the game as much as possible.

For the second month in a row, Rockstar is offering the amount of $500,000 in-game money for anyone who logs into the online game during May. This amount of money certainly cannot be overlooked, as you can do pretty of fun stuff with it in the game: buy cars, play at the casino, start businesses, buy houses, and more.

Rockstar Games itself made the big announcement by writing:

“Free GTA$500,000

Play GTA Online throughout the month of May for a one-time gift of GTA$500,000.

The GTA$ will be automatically sent to your Maze Bank account within seven days.”

One reason for Rockstar making this decision must have been to motivate its users to insist on logging into the online mode of GTA 5. A lot of players had been complaining that they can’t hop into GTA Online, or that the starting of the game takes forever to load. But $500,000 in-game money sure is a strong motivation to keep on trying to log into GTA Online.

However, another reasonable explanation for why is Rockstar giving away such amount of money two months in a row is that plenty of items are too expensive for the gamers to purchase. For that matter, Rockstar also brings along with the free $500,000 some 40% discounts for buying a nightclub and several futuristic weapons: Up-N-Atomizer, Unholy Hellbringer, and Widowmaker.

As a whole gaming community is eagerly waiting for GTA 6 to become available, the online mode of GTA 5 keeps getting improved. One thing to look forward to is if GTA 5 will also become available for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
