Google Pixel 4a Leaked Details Help Create Renders That Show A Familiar Design

This year, Google has launched their mid-range Pixel smartphones, the Pixel 3a and 3a XL. Considering sales went up twice in Q2 2019 as Google CEO Sundar Pichai noted, we knew that they will continue creating the mid-range Pixel lineup for a 2020 launch.

Reliable leaker @OnLeaks and website 91Mobiles have partnered up in creating renders for the new Pixel a lineup. The leaked details from case manufacturers and other information helped create these renders that show us how the design is supposed to look.

While we do not have detailed specs, there are some information we can glean from the renders and what @OnLeaks revealed.

Pixel 4a Features, Specs, Release Date

It appears that the Pixel 3a will have a bigger screen – 5.7 – 5.8 inches, without a notch. The display will be flat and has a punch hole camera. Bezels will evenly surround all the edges.

Looking at the rear, we see a fingerprint scanner and a camera placed in a square black housing along with a flash and probably a 12-megapixel sensor accompanied by a few more sensors.

As for internals, we should expect to see at least 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage with a mid-tier chipset (Snapdragon 730/765). The line could also come with 5G since the tech will go global in 2020.

The Pixel 4a line should come in White and Black and Purple.

The size of the Pixel 4a is said to be 144.2 x 69.5 x 8.2mm, which is a little bit smaller than its predecessor. As for the Pixel 4a XL, there is no detail, but we will surely see it launched alongside the Pixel 4a.

And talking about the launch date, there are no official news, but if we look back in time, this year’s Pixel 3a and 3a XL were revealed at Google I/O in May. It’s fair to assume that the Pixel 4a and Pixel 4a XL will launch in May 2020.
