The remake version for Final Fantasy 7, which was a game released on PlayStation in 1997, is approaching its launch. Being initially scheduled for release in March, there had been some changes in the plans of the developer and publisher Square Enix because of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. But now comes the best news so far, considering that the pre-load of Final Fantasy 7 Remake is already being made available for PlayStation 4.
Also, the April 10 launch is still available as it was announced earlier. Therefore, those willing to play the remake of the famous game won’t have the chance before this date.
Slower speed than usual
Sony decided to slow down its download speed on the PlayStation Network across Europe and the US. This is an efficient way to make people stay at home more and be protected from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The game producer Yoshinori Kitase said:
“We know that due to the COVID-19 pandemic and many people having to stay at home, some of you may be experiencing extra pressure on your internet bandwidth. We wanted to give all our fans some extra time to download the game,”
There is even a brand new trailer for the upcoming game revealed by the developer and publisher Square Enix, and you can admire it in all its glory below:
Unfortunately, there could be delays in the shipment and distribution of ‘Final Fantasy 7 Remake’ due to the pandemic. Some countries’ borders are closed, making the shipment of games very difficult.
However, this whole difficult situation that is affecting us all will end in the near future, and gamers will have the chance to enjoy their favorite titles as much as they want. Authorities worldwide are doing their best to stop the spread of the new Coronavirus.
