Far Cry 6 and New Games to Run in 4K/60FPS On Next-Gen Consoles

Sony and Microsoft’s next-gen consoles are right around the corner, and it looks like game developers took full advantage of the next-gen systems’ capabilities.

Ubisoft appears to plan to make the most out of the next-gen hardware for the next-gen editions of their next games. That includes the like of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, Immortals Fenyx Rising, and others!

All of the company’s future titles will feature “Smart Delivery” free upgrades as well.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will take players to the Northern Lights of Norway in glorious 4K resolution at 60 FPS on the Xbox Series X.

PS5 players will additionally get to enjoy the stunning open world in an advanced manner thanks to the power of the Tempest 3D Audio Engine that gives life to sound.

For Honor will be available in two configurations – It will run in 4K and 60 FPS on the Series X and PS5, and 1080 and 60FPS on the Series S.

All games feature HDR, as that is pretty much the norm for next-gen games.

You might have noticed that Watch Dogs: Legion isn’t on the list of 4K 60FPS games, as it will likely run at 4k/30fps due to advanced ray tracing that heavily uses the consoles’ resources.

Most of the previously mentioned games will be available this year, and we can’t wait to get our hands on them and the new consoles!
