The boss of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, has talked at San Diego Comic-Con about Doctor Strange 2. It is the next movie inspired by the Marvel Comics superhero, and the sequel to Doctor Strange.

Feige stated that Scott Derrickson was the director of the sequel, but he withdrew. After his departure, Sam Raimi came in his place.

The possible release date of Doctor Strange 2

Doctor Strange 2 will not be postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. According to some sources, the production for upcoming MCU shows like Falcon and Loki are now delayed. However, Doctor Strange is in the pre-production phase, and the further production will continue. It is believed that they are doing so because the future of the MCU movies depends on this sequel.

The movie is supposed to be released in theaters in May 2021, and if the release date is changing, then it might affect the future MCU movies, as well.

Is the entire cast coming back for Doctor Strange 2?

These are the actors coming back for the sequel: Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, Benedict Wong as Wong, Baron Mordo as Chiwetel Ejiofor.
It has been said that the movie will also feature other Marvel characters, such as America Chavez, aka Miss America.
