Disney Reveals New Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Scene That Raises Questions

Star Wars fans only have a few more days to go before they get to see the much-awaited Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The movie hits theaters next week, delivering the ending to both Disney’s modern sequel trilogy and the Skywalker Saga. If you can’t contain your excitement any longer, maybe a fresh new piece of information will help: a new clip released by Disney could hint at the surprising comeback of an actor.

Attention! Spoilers ahead! Even though it’s an official clip, you may want to go into the film completely free of information. If this is the case, stop reading.

The character in question is none other than Darth Vader, or at least the voice of Darth Vader. The actor responsible for it is presumably James Earl Jones. However, there are extremely low chances of Darth Vader returning for Rise of Skywalker, since he was very dead when we last saw him.

Speculations say it might be Emperor Palpatine, who will make a comeback in the new film, even though he was also dead at the end of Return of the Jedi.

The presented scene is very well put together, suggesting that Palpatine may have been the presumed villain of The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. Still, without any more context, we can’t tell what exactly is happening in this scene.

One thing is sure, that The Rise of Skywalker will not leave any stone unturned, bringing the current Star Wars era to a glorious close. We’ll find out more details on how things turn out when the movie is released on December 20th.
