Justice League movie was anticipated and awaited with excitement in 2017, but having Marvel Studio in the battle, made the film not quite famous after all. Unfortunately, in the vision of Warner Bros’, Justice League didn’t have the success that the studio wanted, taking only $658 million all around the globe.
So, when talking about the second part of the Justice League, the future is uncertain. We had the chance to see Justice League 2 last year, but it appears that the company had slipped by with it. What is going to happen next?
2020 has started, and DC is not giving any confirmation about the second part of the movie. If we rely only on the fact that the superhero movie didn’t make the money that the company had wished for, then maybe we will not see a second part. And DC is showing it in a way or another because its focus was explicitly on Aquaman and Shazam.
DC’s Justice League 2 Rumors
In this battle between studios, DC tried to combat Marvel’s Avengers, announcing the second part of the Justice League. At that moment, the company announced the date for 14th June 2019. As we can see and know, nothing happened last year on 14th June. Besides that, even the cast for Justice League 2 wasn’t announced as well. What we can speculate about the cast following the initial plan, then we could see Darkseid into Justice League 2.
That means the team of superheroes composed by Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Flash (Ezra Miller), and Aquaman (Jason Momoa) will get back together to fight against Darkseid.
Finally, the rumors were saying that we could also see a new member in Justice League 2, one of the characters from the Green Lanterns team. The plot would have been different in Justice League 2 with the introduction of Darkseid, but it appears that DC wants to do stand-alone movies from now one. So, if we are to see Justice League 2, it will not be a sequel to the first movie.
