CD Projekt, which released Cyberpunk 2077, has come with some new info about the upcoming release.
Cyberpunk 2077 already had to go through two delays, and fans are worried that the launch from September will also be pushed back. This comes off more importance, especially after Sony decided to delay The Last of Us Part 2 indefinitely. But CD Projekt has given their fans the release date of the update.
Adam Kicinski from CD Projekt stated that the company is confident that they will launch the game in September. He also said that “Since mid-March, we have been working from home, while ensuring continuity of all our operations. Our goals haven’t changed; first and foremost, we intend to release Cyberpunk 2077 in September. We feel motivated and have the necessary tools at our disposal to meet this goal.”
But that is not all: CD Projekt comes with a new update about a future DLC.
Kicinski hinted that the Cyberpunk 2077 adventure would not end with the release of the game. When he was asked about possible expansion and DLC, he said that the game would get “no less DLC than The Witcher 3”. As we all know, The Witcher 3 had two major expansions, which came with new story quests and a new area. Fans of the game also got new missions and some cosmetic items. We have also heard that the Cyberpunk 2077 expansions will be announced before the launch.
