What about the production?
Season 2 is in works. The cast stated it in a declaration video, showing that they will return on the screens. Back in July 2019, we learned that Amazon revived the show for a second season.
So when is the Carnival Row Season 2 release date?
The shootings for the second season started in November 2019. Right now, we have no clear release date from the makers of the show. We believe it will be released sometime in 2021, perhaps spring.
Details on the Carnival Row Season 2 cast
These are the actors that should return for the second season of Carnival Row – Arty Froushan will reprise his role as Jonah Breakspear, while David Gyasi will also be back as Argus.
We will see Tamzin Merchant as Imogen, and Caroline Ford as Sophie Longerbane. Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevigne will also be back.
Some rumors about the plot of the upcoming season in Carnival Row
The show focuses on the “mythical creatures who have gotten away from their war-torn spot and gathered in the city as strains are seething among inhabitants and the expanding foreigner individuals.”
We believe that the second season of Carnival Row will continue where it was left after the episodes of the first season (remember that cliffhanger?). We saw the advisory group continuing working on the incident of The Burgue’s crackdown, with the mythological-creature transients. We’ll have to wait and see more details once the Season 2 launches.
